Netizens have taken to the social space X formerly known as Twitter, to share their thoughts after a young man shared ten of his childhood experiences that made his parents think he was possessed.
The young man recounted how he broke the family’s TV twice, and on another occasion, used scissors to cut open the back of every sofa in the house. He also shared how he broke both legs twice while playing football, and had multiple stitches on his lips, head, hands, and near his eyes.
One of his most daring feats was climbing a double fridge, only to come down with a deep fan blade cut that required surgery. He also revealed how he convinced a mechanic that he was an orphan and needed to learn how to make money, and even rented two people to pose as his parents in school.
The young man also shared how he hid in the bush for over seven hours, pretending to be missing, and how a heavy water drum fell on him, leaving people to think he had died, only for him to wake up unharmed.
In his post, the young man asked if his parents overreacted by believing he was possessed by a demon, given that he was “just a boy” at the time.
The post has sparked a heated debate, with many users sharing their thoughts and opinions.
The young man’s story has left many wondering what could have been going through his parents’ minds during those times and comments from different minds are;
