Sarah Martins, a popular Nollywood actress has tendered an apology to popular Nigerian singer, Davido on her comments over the singer’s supposed new restaurant.
As earlier reported by eelive.ng, Sarah had via her Instagram suggested that the singer should have opened the restaurant in his wife’s name rather than himself.
According to her, Chioma is widely known for her culinary skills and the venture would have made more sense as a tribute to her.
The suggestion did not sit well with singer who in turn, took to the comment section to slam the actress.
The singer dismissed claims of restaurant been linked to him, he added that what Sarah assumed to be a restaurant launch was simply a promotional campaign tied to his latest album, 5.
“U no get sense …no restaurant was opened that was a promotional campaign with @foodcourt_app for my album
.. now take my wife’s picture off page,” he wrote in the comment section of the post on Tuesday.
Taking to her Instagram page, actress claimed that she was misinformed by food blogger Opeyemi Famakin’s post and apologised for making him feel disrespected.
She further appealed to Davido to help promote her YouTube channel to his fans.
Her post reads: “One and only 001 @davido
The king himself, the crown of my sis Chioma, the apple of our eyes ( 30BGs) pls I’m truly sorry if you felt disrespected

I was misinformed by his post.
