Nigerian street sensation and entertainer DJ Chicken, whose real name is Ademola Abiodun, has once again found himself in the spotlight following a car crash in Lekki on Friday evening.

According to eyewitness, DJ Chicken crashed his red Toyota into a roadside barrier along a busy Lekki street. Fortunately, no injuries were recorded at the scene, but the incident has reignited public scrutiny over his driving history and overall road safety on Nigeria’s chaotic highways.
The crash comes just three weeks after a separate incident in Sagamu where his SUV reportedly hit a motorcycle, injuring two riders. That earlier event sparked public outcry, but no official action was taken.

However, the latest Lekki crash, although not resulting in injuries, has raised serious questions about DJ Chicken’s driving habits, with many Nigerians calling for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to intervene.

As of now, neither DJ Chicken nor any relevant authorities have issued official statements regarding the incident. However, the pressure is mounting for action, as Nigerians demand accountability and stronger road safety enforcement especially for high-profile individuals frequently in the public eye.
