A Nigerian man has reportedly discovered that he is not the biological father of his son, shortly after relocating from Germany to Nigeria to reunite with his family.
According to reports shared online, the man had lived and worked in Germany for 15 years. Two years ago, he met his wife via social media and, after three months of dating in Nigeria, they got married and later welcomed a child. During the marriage, the man was described as hardworking and deeply committed consistently sending money for rent, baby needs, and his wife’s upkeep.
Earlier this year, he made the decision to permanently return to Nigeria to be closer to his wife and child. However, after watching several viral videos on paternity fraud and DNA testing including one focusing on women in the Ago Palace area where his wife resides he began to feel uneasy.
He recalled suspicious events, including the early timing of the pregnancy, his wife’s refusal to join him in Germany, and her sudden change of phone password. Acting on his doubts, he secretly took the child for a DNA test under the guise of visiting his sister.
He paid for an express result and received confirmation within 48 hours that he was not the child’s biological father. The man, who claimed to have spent over €14,000 caring for the child, allowed the story to be shared to caution other men.
