Collins Ajereh, the father of music producer Don Jazzy, has shared his concern about the ongoing conflict within the Okoye family.
On Friday, Ajereh posted a 2015 photo on Instagram showing the day he prayed for Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, and his wife, Lola Omotayo Okoye.
He reflected on the family dispute and offered prayers for reconciliation and healing.
“As a father, I am very sorry and emotional about all that has happened to this family. We love them so much,” Ajereh wrote.
He continued, “All the same, I thank God for their lives, sustenance, endurance, decorum, matrimonial bond and will continue to keep them in my prayers.
“Time is a great healer and may God take control of their circumstances. What can I say? May all the tribulations pass away, God heal our broken hearts and grant peace to this family IJMN.”
Ajereh shared his message while the dispute between Peter Okoye, his twin brother Paul Okoye (also known as Rudeboy), and their older brother and former manager Jude Okoye continues in public.
The brothers got back together as P-Square in November 2021 after being apart for several years, but their relationship fell apart again. Recently, their disagreement has grown, with public accusations, petitions about money, and legal action between them.
The dispute became more intense after Peter released a video series where he accused others of financial betrayal and said he had received death threats. He also brought up old arguments about how his wife, Lola Omotayo Okoye, was treated during the family’s conflicts.
The latest fallout has led to reactions from fans and people in the entertainment industry, with many asking for the brothers to make peace. P-Square, which is Peter and Paul Okoye, became famous in the early 2000s with hits like ‘Senorita’, ‘Bizzy Body’, ‘Do Me’, ‘Personally’, and ‘Shekini’ before they first split in 2017.
