Nigerian singer Peter Okoye has firmly dismissed any possibility of a reunion with the defunct music duo P-Square, making it clear that the group’s chapter has come to an end.
The artiste made his stance known on social media after a user asked when fans could expect the return of the iconic group. In response, Peter stated unequivocally that a reunion would not happen, declaring that the matter was “done and dusted”.
In a separate exchange, another user suggested that the group’s split was responsible for their perceived decline. Peter, however, rejected the claim and urged critics to respect personal decisions. He emphasised that change is inevitable and that not everything is meant to last forever.

Peter has previously addressed the group’s breakup, stating that P-Square no longer exists. According to him, he has moved on independently, while his brother, Paul Okoye, and their elder brother, Jude Okoye, have continued their own path together.
The singer has also been vocal about the personal challenges he faced within his family, hinting at strained relationships and unresolved issues. In a previous post, he advised the public not to allow family ties to silence them, noting that such experiences had cost him greatly over the years. He further stressed that true loyalty and love should not involve betrayal or manipulation.

The long-standing rift within the Okoye family reportedly resurfaced in 2023 over allegations involving joint finances. During an interview, Paul claimed that Peter had him and their elder brother arrested by the EFCC, though he was later cleared of any wrongdoing. Peter, however, denied the allegation, insisting that the real issue stemmed from being sidelined and treated unfairly.
