Nigerian music mogul Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, has issued a stern warning to an X (formerly Twitter) user impersonating him to conduct fraudulent giveaways.
In a post that’s already garnered thousands of likes and shares, the producer called out the scammer for using his name and image, urging authenticity in acts of kindness.

The tweet which was posted on Friday, caught the attention of the Mavin Records boss late Saturday night and directly addressed the fake account saying: “Good evening sir/ma. Don’t you see how using my name and image on this account looks dodgy. You can do your giveaways with your own name and pic if you really want to help people. Dont say they are bullying you if you get arrested o. I come in peace.”
Social media users quickly rallied behind the star, with replies flooding in support. One fan wrote, “Uncle Don Jazzy coming in peace but with receipts 😂,” while another warned, “Scammers be warned—Jazzy no dey play!”. Another user cyber said, “See Mary .. seee Jesus…See Kiri kiri… See you there 😂🤣”
