Ruth Eze, a Nigerian movie actress, has admonished women not to walk down the aisle with a ‘mad’ man simply because they aim to impress people.
In a candid Instagram post, Eze cautioned women against making marriage decisions based on trends, peer influence, or the desire to impress others, noting that such choices could lead to long-term regret and emotional distress.
“My sister, it’s better to wait and marry right. Don’t let the internet pressure you,” she advised. “Don’t end up marrying a madman just to pepper people who don’t even care about you. Don’t settle for someone just because he fits your spec. Calm down.”

The actress, known for her outspoken nature, added a touch of humor while reinforcing her message. She acknowledged that some women may choose to have children while waiting for the right partner, but ultimately, patience is key.
“My point is: wait and marry right. While waiting, you fit drop one, that’s okay. I’ve said my own,” she added.
