Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has taken legal action against Lagos-based pastor Chris Okafor, demanding N1 billion in damages for an alleged breach of promise to marry.
The development comes just days after Okafor’s high-profile wedding on December 16 in Lekki.
In a formal statement issued by her legal team, Ogala claims that the pastor engaged in a romantic relationship with her beginning in 2017, which she says directly led to her divorce.
She also accuses him of sharing her private photos and making false promises that impacted her personal life and reputation.
On December 17th, eelive.ng reported, controversial relationship therapist Blessing CEO had cautioned Doris Ogala against defaming the General Overseer of Grace Nation International, Pastor Chris Okafor, stating that whatever relationship existed between them was consensual, despite how it eventually ended.
