
Nigerian actress AngelaOkorie, has spoken about the recent confusion regarding the leaked WhatsApp group chat related to the late singer Mohbad’s death.
The WhatsApp group chat, created by Nigerian celebrities was leaked on the internet by the popular human rights activist “VeryDarkMan”, and the contents spreading rapidly, sparking public investigation and intense speculation over the roles played by various people in the conversation.
Angela Okorie who recently sent her apology to Mercy Johnson after weeks of banting her on the internet. Posted on her Instagram story to address the situation, involving her in a distance from any form of gossips or campaigns targeting individuals.
Angela Okorie emphasised that she does not get involve in activities that aim to bring her down, making it clear that she had removed herself the controversial WhatsApp group, the moment she realised the discussions did not align to her values.
Following with what she said, she believes in fairness and integrity and chooses not to associate herself with hurtful narratives or online drama.

Angela Okorie reacting to the beliefs that her posts were aimed at fellow actress Iyabo Ojo, Angela made a video to clear the misunderstanding.
She explained that many were quick to conclude she was referring to Iyabo Ojo, but the person was completely a different person. She then revealed that the lady that added her to the WhatsApp group chat called and apologised to her for the damage she caused.
In the video she posted on her Instagram, she showed how frustrated she was, at how her words were constantly being misinterpreted and used to create divison.

She reaffirm her respect for Iyabo Ojo, saying she respects her. She also made it clear on the friendly relationship she maintained with the popular Nigerian artist Naira Marely despite the widespread criticism after the passing out of Mohbad.
She emphasised the main concern should be seeking justice for Mohbad, rather than instigating unnecessary quarrels.
She concluded by saying that those manipulating narratives are causing more harm than good and insisted that everyone must be cautious about their actions, as no one knows what tomorrow holds
