A viral video of former presidential candidate Peter Obi serving food at an event in Imo State has sparked controversy, with Nigerian comedian Seyi Law weighing in on the matter.
The clip showed Obi dishing out plates of food to guests, smiling warmly as he mingled with attendees, showcasing his humility.
However, Seyi Law wasn’t impressed, taking to his X page to shade Obi with sarcasm. “This is the height of humility. Na today I confirm sey Peter Obi really humble,” he wrote, implying that Obi’s actions might be more of a publicity stunt than genuine humility.

The comment sparked a backlash from Obi’s supporters, known as “Obidients,” who defended their leader’s character. They pointed out that Obi has consistently demonstrated humility and a willingness to mingle with ordinary people, even before his 2023 presidential run.
