Fans are buzzing with mixed reactions after the Federal Government appointed Fuji music legend KWAM 1 as an aviation security ambassador.
This decision comes after KWAM 1’s recent controversy at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, where he was involved in an altercation with airline staff and security officials. Netizens have however, criticised the government’s decision, citing KWAM 1’s past behavior as unbecoming of a role model. They question whether KWAM 1 is the right person for this ambassadorial role, given his recent actions.

As reported earlier by eelive.ng, the minister of aviation in person of Festus Keyamo, announced; “The NCAA is to reduce his (KWAM) flight ban to a one-month period. FAAN will also work with the music star with a view to engaging him as an ambassador for proper airport security protocol going forward.”
As aviation security ambassador, KWAM 1 will work with the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) to promote proper airport security procedures. His appointment comes with a reduced flight ban of one month, down from six months. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has also withdrawn its criminal complaints against him.
