Lais Dognini, who spent two years in a Carmelite convent, and Jackson Dognini, a former seminary student, found each other in a most unexpected way as their love story began when Jackson reached out to Lais during her struggle with depression, offering prayers for her recovery. Both had dedicated years to the Catholic Church, hence before crossing path about 6 years ago when Lais was still a missionary.
