
Fans have taken to social media to react to Nigerian singer Iyanya strategy in promoting his album The Forester’s Son”
The album was released on September 18, 2025. In a bold move, Iyanya took to the streets of Lagos to promote his album, bringing the music to the people instead of waiting for them to find it online.

He was spotted sharing flyers on the streets of Lagos, with bodyguards sighted on spot and passers-by watching while the singer waved to moving vehicles as he handed out the flyers.


The album has 10 tracks with featured artists; Fido, Reekado Banks, Shoday, Mia Guisse, BoySpyce, Berri-Tiga, Magnito, Moonlight Afriqa, Ice Prince, and DanDizzy.

The album has received positive reactions online, with fans praising its authenticity, seamless features, and bold creativity. Iyanya’s promotional strategy has however, gained traction. While some noted that American rapper Cardi B did a similar thing to promote her song and his strategy was a good thing, some suggested he is doing everything he can not to end up like May D.
