Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Fireboy DML has once again captivated fans not with a new song, but through a stunning traditional photoshoot.
Over the weekend, the YBNL star shared a series of eye-catching promotional images, where he was seen wearing a richly detailed agbada, blending Yoruba cultural heritage with modern flair.

The attire, crafted with gold embroidery, red lace highlights, and layered traditional accessories, was set against a warm wooden backdrop, creating a regal aesthetic that left fans gushing. Social media was abuzz with reactions, ranging from heart-eyed emojis to playful marriage proposals and curiosity about upcoming music.

This visual celebration arrives at a symbolic time, as Fireboy’s acclaimed debut album, *Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps*, celebrates its sixth anniversary. Released in 2019, the album propelled Fireboy into stardom with hits like “Jealous,” “Vibration,” and “King.” The project set him apart for his unique blend of Afrobeats, R&B, and introspective lyricism—a style he continues to refine with every release.
However, Fireboy has since become one of Nigeria’s most recognised global exports in music. His breakout single “Peru” was later remixed with Ed Sheeran, further solidifying his international presence. Despite fame, the artist has remained grounded in his cultural identity, frequently embracing traditional themes in his visuals and performances.
