Popular Nollywood actor, Francis Duru has taken to social media to pen down an emotional note to his late son, Ifeanyi on his 17th birthday.
The veteran actor in 2024 had announced the demise of his son, saying he will forever love him. The boy, who was 15 years old, at the time, died on August 7, leaving the actor and his family devastated.
Although, he did not disclose what led to the boy’s death, he, however, noted that his late son fought like a lion.
The actor, in a new Instagram post shared a photo of the deceased, saying “Anyi … sweet soul, gentle spirit.It’s your birthday champ… your memories live forever in our hearts and lips…Miss you loads… happy post humour birthday…
REST ON SON……”

Marking the one-year remembrance in August, Francis had written:
“Sweet soul Anyi… It’s one year today you passed unto glory… one year you slipped out of our hands son… It’s been painful… and still hurts… Son, no one can fill the void you have left in our lives, hearts but in all we give thanks… Rest on champ.”
