Sharing a video from the occasion, the Fuji star wrote, “I am incredibly proud of you. Your dedication, late-night studies, and resilience have finally paid off. Officially becoming a barrister and solicitor is a monumental milestone. May your legal career be filled with wisdom, success and fulfilment. Congratulations on this great achievement, my son, Barrister Samsudeen Adebisi. More success ahead.”

The accompanying video captured an emotional father-and-son moment.

In the shared photo, Samsudeen appeared wearing the ceremonial wig and black gown worn by newly admitted legal practitioners, while Taye Currency embraced him warmly and exchanged heartfelt words, visibly overwhelmed with joy as they celebrated the achievement together.

The latest feat adds to a growing list of accomplishments among the musician’s children, whom he has repeatedly described as his greatest source of pride.

Taye Currency began his career at 17, alongside his late twin brother and now deceased manager, Rahmon Akilapa, when they founded the “Currency Band.”

He was appointed Culture Ambassador during Governor Seyi Makinde’s first term for his active participation in the governor’s campaign.

His son, Yusuf Adebisi, won a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Ibadan South-West Constituency 1, earning Taye Currency the esteemed title of “Baba Honourable.”
