Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele is set to delight her fans with the return of her hit series, Aiyetoro Town.
After a successful first season in 2019, Akindele has announced that season 2 will premiere on FAANtv’s YouTube channel on June 22nd. The new season promises to bring more laughter, drama, and life lessons to audiences.

Aiyetoro Town which falls under the genre of comedy and drama, is a spin-off series from the popular Jenifa franchise, which follows the adventures of Jenifa and her friends in the fictional town of Aiyetoro. The show explores themes of community development, cultural heritage, and personal growth, all while maintaining its signature humor and wit.
The series follows the residents of Aiyetoro as they navigate their lives, traditions, and modernization efforts led by the Baale. The season 1 has 18 episodes and was released in 2019.
