Gideon Okeke, a Nigerian actor has asked an interesting question about gun possession in the country.

The Tinsel actor asked the question amid the recent controversy involving the House on the Rock preacher, Paul Adefarasin who was alleged to be with a gun while driving in his vehicle last weekend in Lagos state.

Taking to his Instagram platform to share his interesting point of view, Gideon Okeke mentioned that if cattle herders in Nigeria are allowed to possess guns, then Pastor Adefarasin should equally be allowed to own a gun as well.

I mean roaming freely infront of police sef, for the protection of their lives and property.

Cattle rearer and pastor… are they not equal citizens?

On Sunday, Pastor Paul Adefarasin addressed a viral clip that appeared to show him flashing a firearm while seated in a vehicle.

You might be aware of a video which has been circulating on social media showing me in what some have misunderstood as brandishing a firearm,” Adefarasin said.

I want to assure you of this — that, that was certainly not a firearm, and at no point did I point such at anyone.

Adefarasin also described the incident as a case of “mischief” and noted that he would briefly address the matter during Sunday’s service which begins at 9 am.
