Uzoamaka Aniunoh, a Nigerian movie actress, has expressed gratitude for winning money after answering a question correctly at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) ceremony that took place on Saturday, May 10, in Lagos state.
She received an undisclosed sum of money as she was leaving her hotel room after using the restroom.
In the trending video, Aniunoh was approached by an interviewer who asked her to mention the name of a celebrity whose name begins with a ‘D’. The actress responded, ‘Daniel Etim Effiong’.

Immediately after getting the question correctly, the interviewer brought out an undisclosed sum of money from her handbag and gave it to the Nigerian actress. Astonished, Aniunoh who didn’t win any award at the AMVCA ceremony, explained how grateful she was and how God sent the interviewer her way.
Speaking, Aniunoh said, “I’ve just come from the awards, I was nominated in the Best leading actress category and I didn’t win.” She went further, “afterwards, I went further to pee in my hotel room because I’m so pressed and I’m wearing this large thing (her gown), I’m in front of my hotel then someone just says, ‘name a celebrity that starts with a D, look I won’”.

“I left here with something, a win is a win, I won at the AMVCAs, God brought you here to make sure that I win something,” Aniunoh said as she embraced the interviewer.
