The lady who says she is the one kicked out of the concert of Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, during the singer’s performance in Denver, United States, on Wednesday night has broken her silence over the incident.
As earlier reported by eelive.ng, the singer during his recent US show had paused his set and asked a male fan to take his girlfriend “home” for sleeping during his performance.
“When I stand up here [on the stage] and see you over there with your girl sleeping in front of me, it pisses me the f**k up. So, please, take her the f**k home… Walahi, I’m not performing another song till you go home,” Burna Boy fumed.
Speaking after the incident, the lady explained that she had been going through a lot and came to the show to lift her mood, adding that Burna Boy could have handled the situation better.
While reacting, she said: I am the girl that was kicked out of the show last night. I dont even know where to begin, but that was very embarrassing and humiliating to myself and my boyfriend. Burna Boy could’ve handled that situation better than that.
“He had no idea what was going on with me and he did not even care to ask if I was ok. I have been mentally, physically and emotional drained since my daughter’s dad passed away and I came to his show to put a smile on my face after everything that has happened.
“He took forever to come out and I was tired. We paid to be there and if i wanted to close my eyes and sleep, I can do that. It is my money that I wasted not his. And for all of you in the comment section being nasty how about showing kindness because you never know what someone is going through.”
