Veteran showbiz maestro, Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy has reacted to the life sentence handed to Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).
It would be recalled that Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Thursday sentenced Kanu to life imprisonment after convicting him on all seven counts of terrorism-related offences. The judge held that the prosecution’s evidence remained unchallenged.

Kanu received life imprisonment on counts 1, 4, 5, and 6; 20 years without an option of fine on count 3; and 5 years without an option of fine on count 7.

“No, it is a circus where rubbish judgment are delivered, where the state capture of the Judiciary is legendary.
“What Nnamdi Kanu said is the truth and he has cursed all of them, it will come to pass. Justice Omotosho is reputed for doing hatchet job for those that can pay his price.
“No doubt the break time he observed for break was to consult Aso Rock on the kind of sentencing he will give Nnamdi Kanu.
“Happy enough, I am confident that Nnamdi Kanu will survive all his persecutors.I no fear, I no shake. But Omotosho, ur fathers left Nyash.”
