As earlier reported by eelive.ng, a viral video involving the Edo lawmaker and 2Baba in a London store surfaced on social media. In the footage, Natasha is heard confronting her husband and repeatedly raising her voice. The lawmaker’s words in the clip, which have been widely shared and discussed include: “Don’t do it. Don’t fucking do it! Na everyday you go dey shout for me? Wetin dey happen? Why are you raising your voice at me?”
The veteran singer was later seen handcuffed by police at Gatwick Airport in London. 2Baba’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, later confirmed the video was real.
Speaking on Daddy Freeze’s Instagram Live session on Monday evening, Igbokwe, who was part of the London tour team and on the same flight as the couple, stated that “everything you had the couple’s face-off was true.”
Recounting the incident, the singer’ former manager disclosed that the argument unfolded at London’s Gatwick Airport, stating that Natasha Osawaru, who is also an Edo State House of Assembly lawmaker, became upset when she felt 2Baba abandoned her after they landed, strolling away with fans who ushered him into a shop.
He said when the “African Queen” crooner realised his wife was left behind, he hurriedly ran back to her.
However, Igbokwe claimed that Natasha lashed out at 2baba, leading to the involvement of the police, who subsequently arrested and handcuffed the singer.
2Baba later joined the session, trying to shut his ex- manager up. The live session ended abruptly when shouting believed to be between 2Baba and Natasha was heard in the background, causing the singer to cut the broadcast.
