The evening was filled with soul-stirring praise sessions led by gospel artists Tope Alabi and Adeyinka Alaseyori, setting a deeply spiritual tone for the celebration. Vodi was visibly overwhelmed with gratitude, dropping to his knees and lifting his hands in thanksgiving during a worship session. He also prostrated himself on the floor in gratitude during the birthday song, as firecrackers lit up the night sky.

The venue was transformed into a glowing haven of white, with rows of white chairs, gold lighting, and soft LED pin lights. A giant portrait of Seyi Vodi dominated the stage, framed in gold accents. The all-white dress code for guests added to the elegance of the evening, creating a stunning visual display.

In a fitting height to his golden jubilee celebrations, Vodi gifted himself a brand-new 2025 Rolls-Royce Cullinan worth approximately N1 billion ($700,000), which was flown into Nigeria via private jet.

The celebration was not just a birthday party but a moment of thanksgiving for Vodi’s life well-lived and successful career spanning over two decades in the Nigerian fashion industry.
