Nigerian rapper Zlatan Ibile, whose real name is Omoniyi Temidayo Raphael, has shared the story of how he met his partner, Davita Lamai, during a pivotal moment in his career.
Zlatan revealed that their first meeting took place in 2019 when he travelled to London for his debut international tour.
According to him, the encounter with his girlfriend proved to be life-changing, as she played a key role in helping him navigate unfamiliar territory at the time.

Speaking during a recent interview, Zlatan explained that Lamai assisted him with essential arrangements, including changing hotels and handling financial matters during his stay in the United Kingdom.
“I met my girlfriend when I came to London in 2019 for my first tour. She helped me change hotels and money back in the UK when we first met,” he said.
Zlatan further disclosed that their relationship quickly became serious, with his partner setting clear expectations from the onset. He recalled how she warned him about being responsible, particularly regarding family matters.
“When we were together, she warned me that if I’m not careful, she’s not taking out any baby for me if it happens,” he added.
Zlatan continues to thrive in the Nigerian music industry, with his relationship playing a notable role in his growth and stability over the years.
