Popular music executive, Tobi Mohammed, better known in the entertainment industry as Alhaji Popping, has shared a shocking story of how he and fellow artiste, Rayce, survived a deadly gun attack some years ago in Bauchi State.
Speaking during an interview on the Adesope Live Show which was made public on Friday, the showbiz entrepreneur explained that the incident happened in 2017 and remains one of the scariest experiences of his life.
According to him, he and Rayce were travelling in a car when unknown gunmen dressed in military uniforms suddenly opened fire on them.

In his words, “Me and Rayce were shot at ten times in Bauchi in 2017 by guys wearing military uniforms. If my mom watches this, she’s going to call me and start praying for me because I didn’t even tell her about the incident.
“We were inside the car and they shot at us. Bullets entered the steering, the wheel, the AC, even the boot, but not one bullet touched me. That day made me realise the kind of grace I carry. Since then I became very close to God because I understood that my life is only by His mercy.”
Popping noted that the near-death encounter completely changed the way he views life and pushed him to build a stronger relationship with God. He stressed that surviving such a situation could only be described as divine intervention.
