In a now-viral video, Daddy Showkey revealed that the accident left him hospitalised for three years, during which Pasuma stepped in to care for his family. He described Pasuma as his only true friend in the music industry at the time.

You see this man? He stood by me in my darkest times,” he said, pointing to Pasuma. “Many didn’t see me or hear from me for years because of the accident. I was in the hospital for three years. Pasuma was the one who fed my family throughout that time. I will never forget him.”

Daddy Showkey also expressed disappointment with other colleagues who ignored him when he needed help the most.

After I got better, I visited some of them, but they wouldn’t even come out to see me. They pretended they weren’t home, even when I knew they were inside,” he recalled.

The heartfelt tribute has since sparked conversations online about loyalty, friendship, and the importance of standing by people during tough times.
