
Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti has narrated his experience after narrowly escaping a stray bullet that hit his hotel room while he was in the United States.
The foremost second-generation in a video shared on Instagram on Sunday, showed the damage done by the bullet, which pierced through the window of his room.
Reacting to the incident, the singer expressed disbelief, noting that it happened in a country often described as “civilised.”
“I read somewhere that these are the civilized people. Tell me you are in America without telling me you are in America. I am in my hotel room just chilling and boom this happened,” he said.
Seun, the youngest son of Afrobeat legend Fela Kuti, did not disclose the specific city where the incident occurred.

Meanwhile, Seun Kuti recently opined that sex isn’t a form of compensation.
The 42-year-old mentioned that women should desist from seeing sex as favour, except if she is a prostitute or she intends on towing towards that path.
Taking to his Instagram account, Seun Kuti stated that sex isn’t sacred as even men who reside in caves engage in it.
“No one gives anyone sex except a prostitute”
She continued, “sex is a mutual act. It’s a favour, and u didn’t do anything u just had sex, a natural act that cave men and cave women did.”
He went further to write, “Nigerian women, sex isn’t a favour except you are a prostitute and that isn’t a bad thing”.
