
Nollywood actress and politician Tonto Dikeh reflects humorously on her brief music career with a sense of regret
The 40-year-old in an Instagram post on Thursday, shared a clip of herself singing the gospel tune ‘God is Good All the Time’ while joking about her inability to sing.
She wrote: “If I could sing ehn, una for don dey sick of me… Like you don’t even understand, Likkeeeeeeeeeeee who is Tiwa? Who is Whitney, who is CeCe Winans? Taaaaahhhhhhh

“Watching this video reminds me of the time I had the worst kind of friends who pushed me to release album… Look sneeze/sniper and co your bedroom is been reserved in hell..
“Moral of this lesson choose your friends wisely, more importantly be wise.”
In June 2014, the actress was signed to D’banj’s DB Records but left the label less than a year later.

Her music career faced significant criticism, with many calling her sound off-key. The actress later acknowledged her shortcomings in music but stated she had no regrets.
“I failed woefully in music. But I still don’t regret it,” she once said in an interview. “When I say I failed in music, it is not because my music was not good. I think I lost the confidence to move on. Music is consistency. If I had continued, I would have made good music.”
