He said he would always remember Remi because she often checked in to see how he was recovering.
Balogun shared that when he asked Remi why she helped him, she said she believed his life had a special purpose.

She told him not to thank her, saying that helping him was her way of seeking answers to her prayers.
“When I had an accident, President Tinubu and his wife stepped in and ensured I was taken abroad for treatment after I had already received proper care in Nigeria,” he said.
“That is why Remi Tinubu will always be an unforgettable person in my life. She constantly checked in on me.

“When I asked her why she helped me, she said I am God’s light that must not be dimmed. It was from her that I learned that if you take care of someone else’s child, God will take care of yours. She also told me not to thank her because helping me was her way of seeking God’s answer to her own prayers.”

He revealed that the accident occurred in Akure, the capital of Ondo State, while he was returning from filming the last scene of a three-man cast project.
“At the accident, I was working on a film project with one-man, two-man, three-man, and four-man cast formats. I was shooting the three-man cast film and had just one scene left to complete it,” he added.
“The marketer had said he would not pay the balance unless the film was completed. It was on our way back from shooting that final scene, along the Akure road, that I had the accident.”
