Yinka Theisen has finally spoken about why she ended her relationship with Nollywood actor, Linc Edochie, who is the elder brother of Yul Edochie.
In a post shared on Instagram on Wednesday, Yinka explained that the breakup was not caused by lack of love but by differences in compatibility and understanding.
According to her, she and Linc cared about each other, but they did not share the same outlook on life and relationships. She stressed that she could not remain in a relationship where she would feel silenced or be pressured to quit social media.
Yinka also noted that she values respect in relationships and expects the same in return. She made it clear that while she respects Linc, she would not allow herself to be treated as a pushover.
In her words, “I intend to make a video soon and explain a few things about Lincoln Edochie and I. I hope that after this, everyone will keep their mouths shut. Linc is not Yinka and Yinka is not Linc. We have very different ways of looking and doing things. Our issue is not a lack of love. We both love each other. It is about compatibility and understanding.
“The kind of man who will love me is not the kind who wants a mouse for a wife. Certainly not the kind of man who wants me to get off social media. I respect Linc and any man I am with. I have refrained from saying a lot because of the respect I have for him. While I respect my man, I am not stupid and not a push over. Enough of the madness.”
