Nollywood actress Anita Joseph has ignited fresh drama online after a fiery exchange with popular influencer Caramel Plugg over an alleged AI-edited photo.
The saga began when Joseph reportedly used AI to replace the face of instagram influencer Caramel plug in a photo, prompting accusations of disrespectful “yeyebrity” behaviour. Following public backlash, the actress issued an apology that referenced that the AI she used was as fault.
Caramel, however, was far from impressed. In a fierce response, the influencer clapped back: “I’m not your baby, I really don’t know you,” rejecting the apology and any implied familiarity. She went further to share videos from the shoot to prove she is the real owner of the outfit and not an AI.

Undeterred, Joseph fired a strong rebuttal. “Your picture didn’t trend, I made it trend. Put some respect on my name,” she declared, asserting her role in boosting the influencer’s outfit visibility.
The exchange quickly went viral, drawing reactions from fellow actress Angela Okorie, who criticised the practice of using AI to swap faces without proper credit.
