Skales, the Afrobeat singer whose real name is John Njenga-Njeng, has been open about the challenges he’s facing in his personal life.
Recently, he took to his X handle to express how much he misses his daughter, whom he hasn’t seen in a while. This comes amid rumors of trouble in his marriage to Precious Hassanity, with whom he welcomed a baby girl in March 2023.
Skales’ heartfelt post read, “I miss my daughter so much … I haven’t seen her in a while … she’s growing up too fast.”

Last month, Skales denied reports that he and Precious were getting a divorce due to her alleged mockery of his music career on social media.
The rumors stemmed from a viral post claiming that Skales had divorced Precious after she publicly mocked his music career.
However, Skales swiftly debunked the claims, calling them “false” and “evil”. Despite this, the couple’s marital issues have been a subject of speculation, with some sources suggesting that they’ve been experiencing problems since late 2022.
