Mary Njoku, Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Mary Njoku, has offered a heartfelt reflection on the popular adage, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”

Taking to her Instagram page alongside stunning photos of herself, Njoku revealed that her personal experiences have made her fully embrace the truth behind the saying.

I’ve come to believe with all my heart that what doesn’t kill you truly makes you stronger,” she wrote.

The actress also offered a touching prayer, asking for divine strength to cope with life’s unchangeable circumstances and for the grace and love everyone deserves.

May God grant us the strength to accept what we cannot change and bless us with the grace and love we truly deserve in this life,” she added.

A few days back, the filmmaker shared her thoughts on what keeps her awake at night. The ROK Studios founder revealed that she is at a point in her life where she genuinely doesn’t know what to do and feels like she is standing at a crossroads, uncertain and stuck. According to Jason Njoku’s wife, she always has answers and is used to clarifying and direction, but this time, she doesn’t have any.

The wife of the Iroko TV boss had, sometime back, raised a rhetorical question to the public on why we are alive and our purpose is on earth. She urged those religious fanatics not to use Christianity as an excuse, as she noted how many who were more religious are dead.

Njoku had also posed an important question to celebrities on life after stardom. Pointing out how no one stays at the top forever, Mary questioned what would become of them once their fame ended. She further asked if they have a real life to fall back on or have burnt down their real life.

In another post, the mother of three had sent a wake-up call to social media users. She revealed that she misses the days when people would confront others when they mess up and have team conversations with them. She noted how what people do these days is to become keyboard warriors and seek sympathy and temporary fame.
