In the wake of explosive breakup rumors between American rapper Cardi B and NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs, the rapper has reportedly opened up about her short-lived romance with Diggs expressing deep regret over their shared child.
In widely shared clips on social media platforms, the now mother of four (three with Offset: Kulture, Wave, Blossom; and this son with Diggs), said: “Even when he touched my pregnant belly, he never looked at me. I regret having a child with him. And I finally realized he never loved me. He put money and fame first, and I come second.”
Comparing Diggs with her estranged husband Offset, she noted that while Offset will get her million dollar gifts for her birthday, her first birthday while dating Diggs, he got her nothing.
The couple’s relationship moved at lightning speed in late 2024 amid Cardi’s ongoing divorce from Offset and went public in mid-2025, and welcomed a baby boy, nicknamed “Baby Touchdown” or “Baby Brim” on November 4, 2025.

Cardi had shared joyful photos of the newborn celebrating what seemed like a fresh start. Diggs, already a father to multiple children from previous relationships (including several reported in 2025 alone), appeared supportive, even joking about future engagements.
Cardi B is now faced with intense scrutiny as the quick timeline from romance to baby had fans saying the pace was a big red flag while some sympathized with her heartbreak.
