Controversial Nigerian musician and social media content creator, Speed Darlington, whose real name is Darlington Okoye, has come out to state that he wants a submissive wife.
Expectedly, the controversial musician has sparked controversy after advising men not to allow their spouses to be richer than them in a recent episode of The Honest Bunch podcast.
According to him, women can’t be submissive when they are richer than their partner.

Despite never being married, Speed Darlington argued that rich women dislike submission but can feign it to get married.
“You cannot tell me that a woman who is worth millions will be submissive to her husband.
“I don’t believe that. Power does not like to submit. I am not very rich but I am still proud of the little I have.
“Now, imagine a wealthy woman who has house in Lagos and in the village, she definitely can’t be submissive. she can say that to just get married but deep down, she will never be submissive,” he claimed.

He urged men to ensure that they be richer than their partners to save their relationships and marriages from future conflicts.
“There will be issues if your woman makes more money than you as a man. It is going to be a problem. Try your best as a man to not allow your woman to be richer than you. If she does, she will be aggressive and never be submissive,” the rapper claimed.
Darlington added that he fancies submissive and supportive women, not rich and independent ones.
He claimed that a submissive woman would support a man but a rich and independent woman would compete with him.
