Nollywood actress Uche Montana has opened up about her inspiring journey to recognition at the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), revealing that there was a time she could not even secure an invitation to attend the ceremony.
In a recent interview, Montana reflected on her early experience at the awards, admitting that she never imagined she would one day be nominated. According to her, the first time she attended the AMVCA, she was not officially invited and had to struggle her way into the event.

“I never thought I would be nominated at the AMVCA, because the first time I went, I wasn’t even given an invitation. I had to struggle my way in,” she said.
Montana has built a name for herself through consistent performances in film, noting that her journey has not been without challenges.
