
Veteran Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has stirred conversation online after expressing her views on how films should be promoted, insisting that she would not participate in dance-driven publicity campaigns for her movies.
The award-winning star made the remark while speaking about changing trends in the entertainment industry, where actors are increasingly expected to create viral content to market their projects.

“I’m sorry, but I won’t be dancing to market or promote my movie. It’s not professional. I’ve done the movie; now I just have to talk about it and leave it to people that will promote it,” she said.

However, others, however, countered that modern marketing strategies require actors to adapt to digital culture in order to reach wider audiences, especially in a competitive global market.
