If I Had ₦1 Billion, I would Give RCCG – Odumodublvck

Popular Nigerian rapper, Odumodublvck, has openly declared his unwavering loyalty to the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), saying that if he had a billion Naira to give, he would donate it without hesitation, and even give more.

The artiste made this known in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, stressing that serving God should come from the heart and not be seen as a forced duty. He explained that donating money to the church is not a guarantee for entry into heaven, but rather an act of love and commitment to God’s work.

According to him, his decision to support the church is a personal choice rooted in his faith and beliefs. He added that he and his household would continue to contribute to the work of Christ without shame, no matter the criticism they face from the public.

If I had a billion to contribute to the RCCG, I would do it and even more. It is not by force to serve the Lord; they did not say that if you do not drop 1bn, you will not enter heaven,” he wrote.

As for me and my household, we will continue to support the work of Christ shamelessly, no matter what you people throw at us. You are just fulfilling the scriptures. God bless you.”

The rapper further lamented what he described as the growing habit of speaking against those who give financial support to the church. He questioned how church projects and activities would be run without funding.

Shey na Holy Spirit dey fuel the gen? Na Holy Spirit go pay for logistics for evangelism?” Odumodublvck asked.

He pointed out that the church needs money even more than some businesses because it caters for the needs of many members who are in difficult situations.

Do you have an idea of the number of people your priest or local pastor supports? After church, you and your family just go to Mr Biggs and have a nice weekend. You should be thankful you are not amongst those who have to wait behind to get small handouts from the pastor,” he said.

Odumodublvck maintained that true devotion to God is not just about money, but also about actions and consistent commitment to faith.
