Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy of PSquare, has vowed to use all resources to get an X user who shared a false report and also debunk the report which claimed the X user, who accused him of rape in 2025 had been sentenced to six years in prison.
Labeling the stories “fake news,” Rudeboy urged fans and media to disregard the unverified claims, which had flooded social platforms earlier on Thursday.

Rudeboy’s initial response on X was explosive: “I hardly reply!!! But you see this one!!! @chubbiedivah if you like go private, leave X!! I will find you, I will use every necessary means, power, resources and money!!! You will face the law, I will use you to set an example!! (scapegoat)… your only way out is to leave the surface of this earth and relocate to space.” He expressed gratitude to those who notified him.l about the issue which had already go viral on social media platforms.
The saga originated in September 2025, when comments under a birthday post for his wife Ivy Ifeoma turned into serious allegations. An X user referenced old divorce rumors involving Rudeboy and ex-wife Anita Okoye, alleging infidelity with their housemaid. The user @chubbiedivah or Alhájí Ayò intensified also claimed that Rudeboy sent out his wife and sister-in-law after they discovered his deeds.
The post went viral, drawing support from celebrities like Do2dtun against online defamation. @chubbiedivah deactivated her account amid backlash. By November 2025, she was reportedly arrested, detained, and charged for false allegations, with court adjournments cited for health reasons.
