NIGERIAN talented artiste, Olushola Dennis Monehin aka Ikale Boy, has lamented the lack of power supply in Ondo communities in his newly-released song, No light, no vote.

In the almost three minutes song, the singer decried the lingering darkness some communities in the state, have been plunged into.

While lyrically highlighting the hardship experienced by the state occupants as a result of no power supply, Ikale Boy encouraged the state indigenes and occupants not to vote for anyone contesting for a public office until the issue of electricity becomes a thing of the past in the state.

The song has however attracted wild reactions among indigenes of the state. Amongst the many social media users who reacted and shared the song on their pages was one Deola Erogunaiye-Olulana.

Reacting to the song, Erogunaiye-Olulana recounted her childhood experience in Okitipupa, a town in the state where she grew up.

She posted that the town had major businesses in millions of dollars, which she said attracted investments from people across the country and even beyond the shores of the African continent.

According to her, due to lack of maintenance and electricity supply almost all the investments in the town she grew up have gone moribund.
