I’ll Be Nigeria’s President Someday—​2Baba’s Wife Natasha Aims for the Top

Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, wife of Nigerian music star 2Baba, has revealed that she hopes to become the President of Nigeria someday.

Osawaru shared the ambition while celebrating the 92nd birthday of her grandfather, Gabriel Igbinedion, in Benin City, Edo State.

A video from the celebration has since gained attention online, showing the lawmaker speaking warmly about her grandfather and expressing her admiration for him.

Describing Igbinedion affectionately as her “baby”, Natasha praised him for remaining vibrant and inspiring even at an advanced age.

She said she enjoys spending time with him and promised to pursue the country’s highest political office while he is still alive to witness it.

she said:“You are amazing, you are like my baby right now, I love you so much. As you age, you become sweeter and better, it is so amazing to be around you, grandpa.

She added: “I promise you that I will be the president of this country before you go.”

Natasha, who represents Egor Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, was recently appointed Minority Leader of the Assembly.

At the time, she described the position as more than a political title, saying it represented a responsibility and a trust placed in her.

The 32-year-old Edo State lawmaker comes from the influential Igbinedion family in Edo State and has been involved in politics and public service.

Her personal life has also attracted considerable public attention since she married veteran singer 2Baba in July 2025.
