Natasha Osawaru Idibia, a member of Edo state House of Assembly and wife of veteran artist 2baba, has asked Nigerians for their support as regarding her husband’s upcoming project.
The lawmaker in a video shared online, called the African Queen crooner an amazing man and is extremely excited to see the rebirth of the singer.
In her words: “The artist has kept such peaceful and beautiful atmosphere all around the world…I’m extremely excited for the rebirth of 2face idibia aka 2baba…He’s about to bring a new face cos he’s 2face… he has so much to give the world and I want you guys to support..”

Recall that 2Face Idibia, on his social media, announced his divorce from Annie Macaulay Idibia on January 26, 2025. He took to Instagram to share the news, stating they had been separated for a while and had filed for divorce.

Initially, there was confusion when his account was reportedly hacked, but 2Face clarified that he made the post himself and meant every word. They’ve been married for 13 years and have two daughters together, but they’ve faced challenges in the past, including a public dispute in 2021 over infidelity allegations.
2Face Idibia and Natasha Osawaru’s relationship became public in February 2025, when 2Face announced his marriage plans with the Edo State lawmaker. In February 12, 2025, 2Face confirmed his relationship with Natasha Osawaru, stating “I love her, I want to marry her”. This announcement comes shortly after his divorce from Annie Idibia.
In February 13, 2025 the singer proposed to Natasha Osawaru, presenting her with an engagement ring, which she happily accepts. The proposal was captured on video and shared on social media.
