
Nigerian rap icon and YBNL founder, Olamide, has opened up about entering a deeply personal chapter in his life, where his focus is fully on himself.
The award-winning artiste, shared the candid revelation in a recent statement that has since sparked reflection and support online.

“Right now, I’m at the phase in my life whereby I’m really trying to give myself undivided attention.
“All my life I’ve been trying to be there for people, but right now I’m really just tryna focus on myself squarely, 100%,” Olamide said.
Olamide’s journey has been marked b consistent mentorship and support for younger artists, including Fireboy DML, Asake, and others under the YBNL umbrella.

However, Olamide latest message suggests a shift one where he steps back from constant giving to invest in his own well being and growth.
Taking back to November 25th, Portable called out Olamide Adedeji, for failing to sign him with his record label, Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL), upon his emergence in 2021.
