Omah Stanley Didia, a Nigerian recording artiste who is better known as Omah Lay, has called himself the best musician to emerge from Nigeria in the past two decades.
Speaking in a recent episode of the Nando Leaks podcast, Omah Lay claimed that artistically, he is the greatest Afrobeats musician of his generation.

The talented Nigerian musician argued that Burna Boy is the only Afrobeats artist who is as talented as him.
Omah Lay noted that he might not be the strongest artist in terms of visuals due to his personality, but he believes that he is the best in the art of music-making.

He said, “I am the best in this sh*t, I don’t want to be bragging too much, I am the best when you put the whole Afrobeats category. I am not the strongest when it comes to visual maybe it due to my personality, I don’t know. But when it comes to the art of making music, I am the best in the last 20 years.
“The only person I sometimes put myself with is Burna Boy. Burna is talented. Apart from Burna, it is me, even with Burna too, it is just me. I feel some type of way when they put me with all these other artists in the same categories. No, don’t do that, I’m the greatest.”
Meanwhile, Omah Lay has only released one studio album and two EPs. His sophomore album, Clarity of Mind has been scheduled for release on Friday, April 3.
