Nollywood superstar Funke Akindele has taken to her official X handle to express heartfelt gratitude following the record breaking success of her latest film, Behind The Scenes.
In an emotional post shared earlier today, the filmmaker reflected on her journey from ”A Tribe Called Judah”, which grossed over ₦1 billion, to her latest blockbuster crossing an unprecedented ₦2 billion at the Nigerian box office, a feat never before achieved in Nollywood.
“Records are milestones, not the mission, “from a Tribe Called Judah grossing ₦1B to Behind The Scenes crossing ₦2B and still counting, this is God in motion. I’m most grateful to my maker and return all the glory to Him.

“The lesson remains unchanged: serve the story, respect the audience, refine the craft, and let the work earn its applause,” she said.
With “Behind The Scenes” still showing in cinemas nationwide, many are calling her the queen of Nigerian box office cinema.
