Popular Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe has stirred reactions online after claiming that the widely discussed wedding ceremony involving TikTok stars Peller and Jarvis was created for content rather than being a genuine marriage.

Speaking during a recent livestream, Carter Efe shared his opinion while reacting to conversations surrounding the ceremony, which attracted widespread attention across social media.

According to him, he believes the event was designed purely for entertainment and online engagement, insisting that it was never intended to be an actual wedding.

He said: “They do content, they say na wedding. Yes, na content now. You no know? No be real marriage. Na why dem no invite me.”

He further suggested that he was intentionally left off the guest list because those behind the event knew it was meant to be content creation rather than a traditional wedding celebration.

During the livestream, the conversation later shifted to the possibility of the couple announcing a pregnancy in the future.

One of the co-hosts jokingly suggested that such an announcement could also become part of their content strategy.

He continued: “In the next nine months, we go start to dey hear say Jarvis don get belle. So, that one too na content. It’s just content. The belle too, na just content.”

Carter Efe, however, was quick to distance himself from that part of the discussion, urging caution and insisting that Jarvis’ personal life should not become the subject of speculation.

He said: “But leave that woman belle, o.”

Carter Efe immediately withdrew the comment, adding

He added: “Okay, na true. Make we no dey talk, allegedly, allegedly. Thank God say I remember. Ah, allegedly.”
