Nollywood actors Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, and his colleague Ariyo Oluwakemi Apesin a.k.aKemity, have reacted to a viral video circulating on Facebook that shows Itele lying on a hospital bed, appearing critically ill.
The video, which quickly spread across social media, sparked widespread concern among fans and followers who feared for the actor’s health.
However, both actors have now come forward to clarify the situation. In a joint statement shared online, they explained that the video was recorded over four years ago and has no connection to Itele’s current health status.

Speaking further, Kemity echoed her sentiments, warning fans against spreading misinformation and urging bloggers and content creators to verify sources before posting.

The actors also expressed disappointment in those who deliberately circulate outdated or false content for engagement. They stressed the importance of responsible content sharing, especially in an age where misinformation spreads rapidly.
