Controversial Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has once again stirred reactions on social media after making bold claims about global music star Wizkid in a video currently circulating online.

In the viral clip, Portable questioned Wizkid’s previous remark in which the Grammy-winning artiste reportedly described himself as the “new Fela”.
Reacting to the comparison, Portable dismissed the claim and argued that he holds a stronger resemblance to the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, due to his life experiences.

According to Portable, one of the factors that sets him apart is his time spent in prison. He claimed that having been incarcerated on multiple occasions makes him “bigger” than Wizkid, insisting that such experiences align more closely with Fela’s rebellious lifestyle and activism.

“Wizkid said he’s the new Fela; has he been to prison before? I’ve been to prison multiple times. I’m bigger than Wizkid” Portable said.
