Nollywood actress Iyabo Oju has finally spoken out about the constant attacks and defamatory statements directed at her and her family, particularly her grandson, by her colleague Lizzy Anjorin.
In a heartfelt statement, Iyabo Oju revealed that she has been struggling to hold her peace but has chosen to ignore the distractions and focus on her family.
Iyabo Oju expressed her gratitude for the support of her fans and followers, saying, “I love you all and I appreciate your genuine concerns.” She assured them that her legal team is working tirelessly to take note of everything and prepare for battles ahead. “Who God has blessed, no man can cause,” she added, noting her faith in divine protection.
The actress hinted that once she lands in Lagos, she will tackle the challenges head-on. “Note that once I land in Lagos, God willing, yes, it will be time to tackle challenges. Silence can be powerful, and while it is not always easy for me, I know sometimes necessary,” she said.

Iyabo Oju’s legal team has reportedly been taking note and preparing for a potential lawsuit against Lizzy Ajorin. “For clarity, I want to assure you all that my legal team isn’t sleeping. They’re taking notes of everything. A wise one must always listen to the counsel of the learned team. Everything has its timing.”
The feud between Iyabo Oju and Lizzy Anjorin has been ongoing, with both actresses exchanging heated words on social media. The conflict escalated after Iyabo Oju filed a one billion naira defamatory lawsuit against Lizzy and Jorry. In response, Lizzy Anjorin slammed Iyabo Oju, leading to a court case that resulted in a warning for Lizzy Anjorin to stop harassing Iyabo Oju and her family.
